A Dream of Wildlife, Endless Freedom, and Unyielding Spirit
Ryan loved cowboy movies since childhood, devouring the movies of Clint Eastwood and John Wayne. Even at age 60, the endless meadows of Texas were still tempting him. Ryan never lost his ambitious dream of owning his own ranch.
Finally, after he built a profitable business, his dream was within reach. “I bought the land. And now I need vehicles to cultivate it and grow crops on it,” our client finished his story in his usual businesslike manner.
“Maybe one vehicle will be enough,” our manager said, “How much is your area?”
“70 thousand acres,” the answer followed, and it became clear that Ryan needed a large fleet of vehicles.
A New Type of Heavy Equipment for an Old Client
Ryan told us that he decided to fulfill his childhood dream and turn an extensive, uncultivated area into a real cowboy ranch for himself and others. He planned to build houses to rent to tourists.
“I’m not the only one who misses the Wild West,” he explained with a smile.
It was a huge job, so we had to match him with versatile equipment to handle a wide range of tasks & projects:
- Uprooting stumps
- Demolish old buildings.
- Build houses, hangars, and barns.
- Create corrals for horses and cows.
- Planting and harvesting crops.
- Store hay, tools, and…
And much more.
That was just skimming the top of the work involved, but we could get him exactly what he needed.
Of course, Ryan needed most of the equipment for construction, but wanted to own the machines. Why? Because after using the machines to build his ranch he wanted to rent them out for a profit. After all, he spent years building a network of clients in his original industry – construction & building materials.
We helped him decide what he needed: a bulldozer, several tractors, and loaders of almost all types.
72 Hours on the Road with a Dozen Trailers
We usually deliver vehicles for Ryan in less than a day. But this was not only a larger order, but also a larger distance all the way to Texas.
After inspecting, fine-tuning, and testing each vehicle, we loaded them up onto a dozen trailers. While our mechanics were doing their job, our drivers were preparing the transport for delivery.
Then, we hit the road, determined to get to the site of Ryan’s future ranch as fast as possible.
Heavy Equipment Built for Rugged Prairies and Canyons
When we reached the ranch in Texas, we were awe-struck. The expansive acreage looked like an old Western movie. In fact, we liked it so much that we extended our 3-hour test drive even longer just to spend more time in the ranching atmosphere.
Our drivers kept talking only about Texas for several weeks after returning to our facility. Ryan’s land was impressive, as was the upcoming transformation, while the local nature-inspired hiking, horse racing, hunting, and outdoor living.
Luckily, we got the opportunity to go back.
Repairs and Maintenance on Us
We usually provide a warranty for 180 days, but Ryan is a regular customer. When his tractor broke down after this period, our mechanic carried out diagnostics for free, changed parts, and started the vehicle. And then he joked:
I would go to this ranch daily.
You should have seen how beautiful it is!
Later, when Ryan’s equipment needed maintenance, our mechanics drew straws to see who would take on the job. They just couldn’t wait to go back.
First Guests, First Harvest, and First Profit
Ryan was so grateful for our low-cost heavy equipment and above-and-beyond services, so he gave a great gift to our employees – he invited them to stay on the ranch when the construction was over. Now, he’s considering permanently moving to Texas and leaving his building materials business to his son.
He told us he had collected the first harvest and even managed to sell it so he could permanently move to Texas. Not only was he profitable, but after using the machines we provided heavily, they still ran great! That means he could rent them out for a profit, earning even more money because of Albatross Equipment’s reliable heavy equipment.
